D'Alembert System (Cancellation Betting)

This cancellation betting strategy is presented here in its most basic form. Many variations of it exist (and indeed are sold to unsuspecting gamblers). It is widely considered to be less risky than a basic martingale system since we are not doubling our risk on every loss. Nevertheless, this is what is called a "negative progression" strategy, in that bet sizes are increased after losses and is therefore still highly risky. This is one of the more fun strategies which i enjoy from time to time.

How To Play Roulette (Basic)

Roulette is one of the simplest casino games you can play, but also offers opportunities for more advanced players to try out different bets / strategies too. Gameplay on Roulette is also slower than for other games, particularly when you play it in a land based casino, which is helpful when you are just starting out.

Anti-Martingale / Reverse Martingale

This strategy is basically what the name says. It is the traditional Martingale strategy but in reverse. This makes for some interesting scenarios and in my opinion is not so heart stopping to trade! There are a few quirks to the strategy which mean it cannot be applied in quite the same way as the traditional Martingale. When you do manage to hit a win with this strategy the win will be large, which is a real motivator.

Basic Martingale

I have seen this ridiculously simple and commonly known strategy posted all over the internet by people seeking to make gains out of it and claiming it is their own invention. The Martingale Strategy is a very simple staking plan and is very commonly used. It is one of those strategies which you just *have* to know as a real foundation to any other gambling knowledge you may gain. Indeed it often forms a foundation for other gambling strategies and systems which we will explore later.

Well, i'll get straight down to business and tell you about the strategy...

Bored With The "Other" Business

In "real life" i am a successful financial markets trader and own a well known and widely read website with a large subscriber base of people hanging off my every financial word of wisdom. The trouble is it is a bit high pressured and sometimes i just like to kick back and relax.
